WISCONSIN RIVER TRAIL NEWS

On St. Patrick’s Day, Thursday, March 17th, Boscobel’s Dairy Queen will be hosting a fundraiser from 4-7pm.  Ten percent of all proceeds that evening will go to the WRTO, and board members will be available to answer any questions you may have.  We will be bursting at the seams with information on future fundraisers, volunteering opportunities, and some fun door prizes that you could win!  Enjoy a shamrock shake or a mint hot fudge sundae. We will also have on display and chances at winning an electronic bike, valued at $2000, donated by Crazy Lenny’s E-Bikes in Madison!  This bike can go up to 50 miles without needing to pedal!

During the DQ fundraiser, we will have information available for a new group we’re creating called the “Trail Blazers”.  This is a group of kids, along with their parents, that volunteer for WRTO and receive recognition for doing so.

Bring your Kwik Trip milk lids and bag clippings to DQ night.  Please save them from now on for the trail.  We can even come to your door to pick up a large quantity!

THAT’S MY PAN is another great opportunity to contribute to the trail just in time for Easter or Mother’s Day gifts.  This website allows for your purchase to be completed on-line and shipped directly to your house!  It’s more than just cake pans, and the decorative camo and Badger lids are adorable!  There are cutting boards, cookie tins, recipe boxes, and gift cards….worth a look!  Go to www.thatsmypan.biz/FRWI10345 to browse.  Make sure to get your order in early enough for Mother’s Day!

Check out our website at www.wirivertrail.org for our merchandise or to keep up with what our trail peeps are doing.  As always, we love all the help we can get.  Please feel free to reach out to any of us if you are interested in contributing to our trail fun!  Have a great week!
