Are you looking for something fun to do for your sweetheart or family over Valentine’s Day weekend? Well, we’ve got it! Make your reservation (or just show up!) for a horse-drawn sleigh ride at Kronshage Park in Boscobel on February 11th from 12:00-4:00 pm. For $5/person or $20/family, with children 3 and under free, you can enjoy a ride in the park and complimentary snow shoes, as well as sledding on the hill (Bring your sled!). Hot chocolate and hot dogs will be available too. To reserve and guarantee your spot, call Tonia at 608-391-0113, or show up and jump on! If the weather is inclement or there is little to no snow, the event will be cancelled. Stay tuned right up to the moment by visiting our Facebook page, Wisconsin River Trail Organization, and clicking on the event.
Did you ask for a “Bring back Tremor AND Fast Action?” OK….Let’s do it! Saturday, March 18th, we’re having a party at Boscobel Bowl & Banquet starting at 7 pm. For $5.00 at the door, you are going to have more fun than you’ve had for 20 years! J WRTO will also sponsor a 50/50 raffle and a bead game too. We’ve waited so long for this evening again! Mark your calendars!
Classic Reruns in Boscobel will take your gently used clothing or housewares as a donation for the WRTO. Just let them know you’re donating your items for the WRTO.
And one more thing. Don’t forget instead of ordering from Amazon, try www.smileamazon.com, add the Wisconsin River Trail as your non-profit organization, and Amazon donates 0.5% of all of our orders, at no extra charge to the purchaser, to the WRTO. Last year we raised almost $50 through this fundraiser….and every penny counts!
