WISCONSIN RIVER TRAIL NEWS
Sign up before April 27th to receive a t-shirt, as you and your family participate in our Trek the Trail, a 5 or 10K run/walk that will begin at the Depot Museum on Saturday, May 5th at 9 am. Entry fee is $25/person or $75/family (2 adults/2 kids). The run will use the Sanders Creek Trail, phase 1 trail to the Von Haden Boat Landing, and part of our next trail, phase 2A (for 10 K runners). The race will be timed, and 10K finishers will receive an awesome medal. For a map of the run, go to our Facebook page, Wisconsin River Trail Organization. Register online at www.wirivertrail.org, or register the morning of the event at the Depot Museum. May 5th is also the farmer’s market and Depot Museum opening, as city wide garage sales, and Krogen’s Do It Best Hardware Store’s 85th anniversary! SO….for 85 cents, stop in to the store from 11am-2pm and enjoy a brat, chips, drink, and dessert. The WRTO peeps are helping grill and serve the meal.
