September 26th from noon-5 pm Double K’s is the place to be!  The Taste of Boscobel will be held inside and outside (in the adjoining parking lot), with fun food, beer, wine, and other wares.  The best part?  FAST ACTION is playing!  Tickets are on sale at Krachey’s BP and Double K’s in Boscobel.  The cost is $10, or $15 the day of the event.  If you are interested in sponsoring your own vendor booth for free, contact Wendi Stitzer at 485-1202.

Labor Day weekend, Joel Leonard is making Brats for breakfast at the farmer’s market!  Stop by and see what Boscobel’s farmer’s market is all about!  WRTO is also selling clothing and tickets to The Taste of Boscobel at our booth.

Our 2nd Annual Hiking and Biking Banquet plans are under way.  November 14th will be here soon!  Tickets will be $20 again this year with a wonderful beef tips with gravy meal provided by Boscobel Bowl & Banquet.  Two hundred tickets are sold, with a live auction, silent auction, vacation, men’s, women’s, kids, electronics table drawings, as well as fun Chinese auctions.  Please contact Denise Fisher at 507-269-2606 for information.

Don’t forget the big green bike is still for rent!  For $15.00, you can put it in anyone’s yard….a wedding, new baby, anniversary, baby, first day of school.  For $15, you can have it removed from your yard, but for only $10, you can move it to someone else’s yard.

Also, when ordering from Amazon, don’t forget to go to www.smileamazon.com, and choose the Wisconsin River Trail as your donation charity.  At no extra cost to you, Amazon donates a portion of their profits to our trail.

Next week we hope to have news about our DNR $200,000 grant!  Have a great week!
