The Wisconsin River Trail organization is kicking into full swing….again!  J  Here’s what we are up to!

We are looking for fun people that want to jump on our bus to the Milwaukee Brewers game/Goo Goo Dolls concert on August 15th.  We leave the Pour House at noon and are traveling with a world-renowned bus driver, Boscobel’s own Steve Dilley.  After the game against the Phillies, there will be a concert in the stadium.  We will have drawings for prizes and all sorts of fun.  It is a “bring your own beverage” ride and promises to be more fun than a person should have all in one day!  We can pick up along the way also!  To reserve your spot, call Denise Fisher at 507-269-2606 or Tonia Vial at 608-391-0113.  The cost is $82.00/person and is a tax deductible donation!  Everyone that signs up this week will get a free can coozie to start our trip off right!

Labor Day weekend at the farmer’s market is going to be Brats for Breakfast Day at the WRTO booth, courtesy of Joel Leonard and company!  Bring your appetites and come enjoy all the fresh produce that Boscobel’s area has to offer, this weekend and every weekend!

Next up is the Taste of Boscobel event slated on Saturday, September 26th from noon-5 pm.  Double K’s and WRTO is teaming up to provide an afternoon of sunshine and fun.  Vendors/businesses need only call the above phone numbers to reserve a free spot in the parking lot beside Double K’s, where we will have area wines, beer, food tasting, arts and crafts, and so much more!  Best of all is the live music we are working at to surprise you with!  You’re going to want to keep the date open!  Thanks to Boscobel Community Bank as one of our top sponsors for our event!

The Hiking and Biking Banquet is scheduled for November 15th.  That sounds like a long way off, but planning has begun.  We hope you all have a great week and thanks for your interest in creating a forever hiking and biking trail with us!
