TREK THE TRAIL!  Saturday, May 5th is race day (or fun walk/run) and our starting line for both the 5 and 10 K run/walk will be at Boscobel’s Depot Museum.  10 K runners will be timed, and medals will be given out to 10K participants.  Cost is $25/person or $75/family (2 adults/2 children).  Registrants who sign up before April 27th will receive a free t-shirt.  Registration the day of the event will be available at 8 am, with the race for both 5 and 10K beginning at 9 am.  It’s not too late to join a Couch to 5 or 10 K program online.  Come join us as we use part of our newest future trail-Phase 2A!  For more details, please feel check out our event page on Facebook-Wisconsin River Trail Organization.  To sign up online, please go to www.wirivertrail and click on events, Trek the Trail.  For more information about sponsorship or the run itself, contact Tonia Vial at tmvial@yahoo.com.  May 5th is also the opening of Boscobel’s Farmer’s Market and the reopening of The Boscobel Depot Museum for the season.  Come join in on our fun community activities!

Quarterly, the WRTO receives a check from Amazon because people like you have ordered and have the Wisconsin River Trail as their non-profit organization.  At no extra charge to you, they donate 0.5% back to our charity when you go to smile.amazon.com instead of amazon.com.  Amazon is TRIPLING the donation rate on your first smile.amazon.com purchase – through March 31! Go to smile.amazon.com/ch/46-5278938 and Amazon donates to the Wisconsin River Trail Organization. Have a great week everyone!
