WISCONSIN RIVER TRAIL NEWS
Music at the Mill is coming fast! Jeff Lee, Rick Asleson, Russ Bausch, and Steve Eck are set to perform as the band: 4 Local Guys. Wednesday, August 14th from 6-8:30 pm at Wisconsin River Outings, 715 Wisconsin Avenue, we are planning to provide a night of entertainment that will make your toes tap and possibly give you the best dance moves you’ve ever had on a Wednesday night…EVER! ? Bring your chair and beverages (beer/wine if you so choose), come hungry-we’ll have picnic food/sandwiches/root beer floats for purchase, and we’ll do the rest. Our goal is 100 attendees! Thank you to Double K’s and Wisconsin River Outings for sponsoring this event.
As our last summer concert series 2019 event, WRTO will be re-evaluating the desire for Music at the Mill to continue. If you are unable to attend but would like to donate, make suggestions, or offer any other support for the continuation of this event, please contact Denise Fisher at 507-269-2606 or denisefisher5995@gmail.com.
The Taste of Boscobel is set for Saturday, September 7th beginning at noon!
Advance tickets are now on sale at Community First Bank, Music at the Mill, or contact any WRTO member (see Denise’s information above). Cost is $15 or $20 at the door. There’s a new glass design for the first 500 attendees! Live music at Double K’s: Adam Bartels Band from 12-2 pm, Tom and Boston Jones from 2-3 pm, Hard Time from 3-5 pm, and Abby Lane from 5-7 pm. TROCOR has Tom Black providing music from 1:30-3:30 pm. There will be more music planned, great foods, wines, beers, Kickapoo coffee samples, crafts, and so much more! Again, come hungry. Stay tuned as we create an even better Taste of Boscobel than last year’s event!
